I'd say you're alot of what people look for in a guy (intelligent, able to converse on most subjects, fit, good looking, etc) and maybe there are so many insecure folk out there that when they look at someone who actually IS a good catch, it intimidates them?

Eh intimidating = have self confidence any more. You also aren't a jerk. I think in most people's definition of socially intimidating you would match the OOO scary profile because of that. They are weak. *winK*
