Night owls

New, new, new
Jan. 3rd, 2004 05:19 pmAm almost done with the furniture, and will post pics later, but we went to Ikea today and I finally gave in and got a new desk, CPU cart, and storage for the "computer" wall of my room. The desk is done, as is the cart, and the computer is reassembled (yay!), so now it's on the monster piece, a tall shelving unit with doors. Whee.
New Desk/Storage Space

It's higher than I'm used to typing at, mainly to fit the CPU underneath, but it's working well thus far and it's a perfectly fine height if I sit up like I should. Need to work on lighting and perhaps a small shelf or "hutch" thing on the side for some more table top storage. But is much nicer than what I had, and thus begins the eventually redecoration of my room...
